• Temperature: 20–35°C (68–95°F)

• Rainfall: 600–1300 mm/year

• Frost sensitive

• Needs sunlight for at least 6–8 hours/day

Soil:

• Well-drained sandy loam or loamy soil

• pH: 5.5–7

• Avoid water-logging

Flowering & Fruiting

• Begins after 6–8 months for cuttings

• Full production after 1–2 years

• Flowers bloom at night and last one night (pollination needed)

• Fruit harvest: 30–50 days after flowering
