Care & Maintenance

1. Watering:

• Regular during dry spells and fruit development

• Avoid waterlogging

2. Mulching:

• Retains moisture and suppresses weeds

3. Pruning:

• Shape tree in early years (central leader or open-center form)

• Remove dead/diseased branches and suckers

4. Fertilization:

• Apply balanced NPK (15:15:15) and organic compost

• Increase potassium during fruiting stage

• Example Schedule:

  • 1st year: 100g NPK + 5 kg compost per tree every 3 months

  • Mature trees: 500–1,000g NPK + 20 kg compost annually in split doses
